Brought in during early development, I redefined the form factor and internal mechanism architecture to prepare the first-generation Bixpy motor for manufacturing. The work focused on creating a durable, modular motor that could be used in multiple multiple mounting configurations, including handheld use. I led design-for-manufacture decisions shaped by marine realities, including robust sealing strategy, salt-fog and corrosion-resistant materials, fastener selection, and depth considerations for long term waterproof durability with a service-friendly assembly. The result was a production-ready foundation for an iterative platform built for repeated use in harsh water environments.
